Charged me 3x their posted rate and didn't fix the seat.
I asked how much it would cost to fix my car seat, Jose said it would take 5 hours and $200 should cover it. The job took 1 hour, their sign says $65/hour, and they still billed me for 3x the price.
Me: Are you going to adjust the estimate because it only took one hour?
Jose: No, you said $200 was okay.
Me: That was an estimate. Your sign clearly says $65/hour, that took 1 hour.
Jose: I could have told them to take their time and make it longer.
He actually said that. He was proud of himself for NOT telling them to do a bad job, like that's an accomplishment. And their place is a wreck.
They're in the worst part of town and cheap for a reason, find a different upholstery shop.
