This was my first Vietnamese food experience years ago. Then the ownership changed. After a few disappointing meals I moved on Ben Thanh and was very pleased. Made the mistake of craving Ben Thanh on a Wednesday when they are closed. Decided to revisit Lang Van. Food was not horrible but the balance was off. The bright flavor or fresh ginger and clean mint that Ive grown accustom to w BT was missing. LV May just be a little too rustic and heavy handed for me.
