Velvet Tango Room has been on my list of places to go for a while now. VTR was sadly underwhelming. I have no complaints about the price or the time it takes to make the drinks. They come with the territory. The manhattan was pretty good, but there are more talented bartenders around cleveland. Just because something is expensive doesn't make it great. What really ruined my experience was the service. Maybe the bartendress was having a bad night, but I know of other people who have had similar complaints. I will not go and spend a couple hundred dollars to be spoken down to and insulted. I spent the night telling my guests that VTR was going to be such a great experience. What a way to ruin celebrating a friends birthday.
