This was my first stay at a Drury Inn. We were at the Happy Valley location in Phoenix. The staff at the front desk greeted us but we wanted to eat the dinner before we checked in because there were only five minutes of service left. They were happy to accommodate us. Plus you get some free drinks with your dinner!
Our room had two rooms. The bedroom had two comfortable queen sized beds and a flat panel tv. I liked the TV's because they were larger as opposed to so many other hotels that have only 32". Picture was excellent. The living room had a comfy couch and armchair with side table and coffee table. Again the tv was excellent.
We were impressed with all the amenities. The breakfast and dinner were good enough to fill up our tummies to start and end the day. The coffee was better than average in my opinion and my coffee is very important to me!
I liked the staff; their customer service was excellent. They were professional while being friendly at the same time. I want to do a shout out to Teri, Duane, Chelsea and Debra. For the most part these were the people we dealt with. I'm sure other staff are equally well trained.
I will definitely come back here. I imagine all the Drury Inn and Suites across the country are excellent given they are privately owned.
Stay here; you won't be sorry.
