Casbah has been one of our favorite restaurants for a long time. Last night it was extremely busy, probably because the steelers, pens, and pit all have home games this weekend. We were happy to get the quietest table in the house, next to the wine room in the basement. We each ordered the duck entre, which was outstanding. Like almost all of the other reviewers, we agree that the bread alone will bring us back. Cocktails, wine, and service were also first class. For full disclosure, this glowing review is from a local bumpkin (who happened to travel and dine extensively in all U.S. States, Canadian provinces, and most European countries), not a sophisticated, urbane LA resident, shocked by Pittsburgh's high restaurant prices. Take it for what it's worth!
