Run, that is my advice, run. He did my surgery many years ago. He was mean when I went back after having severe pain following my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. He told me something like "Act your age" when I was crying from pain in his office. He took out the stitches, and weeks later I had a huge piece of stitches that was all rotting and nasty come out of my gums. I would never let him near me nor my family again.
Found out through local dentists that he does surgeries for many dentists' offices in the area. Scary that he is promoted the way he is, after the treatment I had from him. Anytime anyone mentions oral surgery, I tell them make sure it isn't Dr Kootman!
