Book a reservation at this place for my wife's birthday and I can honestly say that it was a major mistake. For a supposedly a top notch restaurant, this restaurant can't even beat a cafe standard diner. Not sure if it's because we are Asian or the place was busy but its just sad that they can't seem to comprehend basic dining service yet alone fine dining. Waiter that just stop by and say are we ready to order?? Not bother to introduce himself. And when we asked for any special, he proceeded just to show the paper on the table that I guess he put there cos he don't bother to spiel. My wife would like an extra truffle bread and the busser that apparently seems only able to speak Spanish said yes and never deliver. When our appetizers arrived, a $45 langoustine and a $27 octopus. The server or back server doesn't even seem to bother to check back. A simple 2 minutes 2'bites check up. Major flaw. My wife was so mad that we don't even bother to wait for the main course. Asked for manager who thankfully understand our frustration. Maybe because he is an Asian too. He apologize profusely and very professionally asked if he can book us another reservation at other restaurant since it's late. Although I don't mind paying for the appetizers that we ate, he proceeded by taking care of the check. But hey, don't let my review stop you for eating here. Maybe just an off night for them or just because we live in a world of "racial profiling" these days. But honestly there should be no such thing in this world yet alone hospitality industry. Definitely wont be back. Thanks costa di mare for ruining my wife's birthday dinner.
