Our pediatrician referred my 7 yo daughter here because of a lisp. It took them about two months to set her up in the system. When I finally brought my daughter in for a consultation I paid $100 for the visit to avoid the "pre-authorization" process that would have probably taken another two months and because I told them I had not met my deductible so no point of waiting on insurance.
The consultation took about 20 minutes and I liked the therapist well enough. During check out, I was told that, because a long wait list, I could not get a permanent appointment time and the wait period to get one is uncertain. They then told me that I should call every week to see what spots are available that week, if any.
This is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know why no one informed me of this scheduling problem when I walked in and paid $100 for nothing.
