Probably one of the neatest places I've been to, from food to atmosphere! Been here several times with friends and my fiancé, and we haven't been disappointed.
My go-to item on the menu has been the fried green tomato sandwich (a waiter suggested I added bacon to make it a BLT, and I LOVE it)! Crispy bread, zesty corn relish... it's awesome!
Last night, we tried a new menu item: the jambalaya.
I've been to New Orleans a few times and tried cajun restaurants across Phoenix (unfortunately, few can get those flavor profiles right). But this jambalaya? Damn! I think cajun-foodies will be extremely pleased! The taste is like homemade New Orleans cooking, yet the dish is still unique. It's a lil smokey, a lil spicy, and super flavorful. I hope they keep it on the menu, because I'll be coming back for more!
