So who gets excited about pasta anymore, right?
Last night I ordered the Mussels Marinara sautéed with white wine, butter, garlic, parsley and marinara and then tossed with spaghetti. Yep, spaghetti. And I was served the absolutely perfect spaghetti al dente along with a wonderful marinara sauce. I had a little cheese put on it, and I was in seventh heaven. It is wonderful when something so simple is done so right.
My wife had the fish, I think it's called basa. She enjoyed it. We shared a bottle of Kim Crawford Savignon Blanc which was a perfect complement to both our entrees.
