This was my 4th escape room experience - once in LA, and 3 times in Vegas. What a blast! Twice we got "locked in" with just another couple, and twice with a larger group of 6. Both ways a lot of fun. You have to love solving puzzles - with a clock ticking the whole time. Once you sign in, one of the staff takes you to your room (there are about 7 different escape experiences to try here with varying levels of difficulty). We got a brief orientation from our staff person (with a good amount of humor). Then we were locked in! The theme of our room was escape from Alcatraz. Each couple was locked in a separate jail cell and we needed to find and solve the clues to get out of the cells (and our buddies out of their cell) and on to the next rooms. The staff watches you on camera and can come in to give some help with the clues if you get really stumped. Great fun. Will definitely be back to try a different room (maybe a little less hard the next time).
