Not sure why this place gets such a bad rap. Never had a problem with the bouncers or the girls here.
First, the basics. Dances are $20 here, but lately it seems they have a 2 for $20 special before 7:00, pretty nice. Lap dances are higher contact than average.
Next, this is actually one of the better clubs to go to if you are going as a couple. Many places I've gone to with the wife, the dancers were afraid to approach us. Here, it is much better. Quality of the girls is decent, I actually prefer them to the type of woman at places like sapphires, which have too many blonde barbie amazons. The girls here are much more diverse and closer to a girl next door type, which I really like.
What I really like most is the layout though. A lot of places, just even getting a seat is an awkward complicated and sometimes costly experience. How much is it to ask just to sit down? Luckily this is a total non-issue here.
It seems a lot of the bad reviews mostly have, in one way or another, to do with cover charges and transportation. I am local and I just drive there, so maybe I am a bit sheltered from this, but so far, have never been asked a cover. There is supposedly a drink minimum but I have no idea how they would even go about enforcing it.
Overall, this is my go-to spot when it comes to clubs. The basics are well covered here.
