I have visited Kyara several times since my initial review and just felt like it needed an update. Kyara is still "As good as it gets!" for me. The food and service are still as stellar as when I first visited. I have dined here sober a couple of times, and can say that I like the food just as good sober as when I am inebriated. So it is not just the affect of alcohol on my hypothalamus making me more responsive to the aromas, although I do not mind that at all.
Great food and service with a pleasant environment keeps me coming back to Kyara and makes it the Izakaya restaurant I compare all other restaurants in this genre to.
