First of all, I want to clarify this is not a review on Dr. Rockwell, but their pitiful, cold, unprofessional office staff. My husband had an appointment with Dr. Rockwell on 6/27/16. The previous week he had been out East with his mother that had had emergency surgery. The office always texts and calls to remind of upcoming appointments but this time they didn't. Due to what was going on with his mother and the fact that they didn't call to remind, he forgot the appointment. A few days later they sent a letter that if he wants to make another appointment he needs to pay $45 for being a no show and if he wants them to send a refill of his medication to the pharmacy, he needs to pay another $30. He's called twice and even asked to speak to the doctor to discuss possible medication withdrawal but they won't even let him talk to the doctor. Last thing they said was "the doctor does not dictate the policies of the clinic". Supposedly they serve the community and they're a mental health provider, but they don't really give a crap about their patients and all they care about is money. My husband was very comfortable with Dr. Rockwell but sadly he will need to find another doctor.
