Here's the Scoop: This was not a long drive from our resort, so off we went. drove for about 2 hours and the route was scenic. Hot day but we came with lots of water. great parking once we arrived. Parking was $10. The tour inside the Dam was fabulous. Tour guides explained the history, we rode in elevators throughout the tour. Air conditioning was on point. Once the inside tour was complete you were able to walk over to the dam outside and take pictures up close. this was scary but phenomenal. You can buy souvenirs at reasonable prices I will never forget the views. Pretty crowded evetnhough it was hot. There are tours for the outside of the Dam but my husband and I decided to do it on our own. If you have the chance to visit, its a definite must see.
