There's a lot of hype about this place. My opinion is that it doesn't quite live up to it.
The atmosphere is awesome. There is plenty of space, unique decor, pretty landscaping, etc. It's a nice place to be.
But a nice place to eat? Maybe not so much. Don't arrive hungry, because you'll most likely be waiting in a long line - just to order. This seems to have gotten worse, even just recently. The past 2-3 times I've been, the wait has been over an hour. It's definitely frustrating.
And then there's the price. It's pretty expensive for what it is. Count on at least $12 a person. Probably more like $15, especially if you drink something other than water.
Now, I'd be fine with the wait AND the price if I felt like the food was worth it. But I've yet to be blown away by anything on the menu here. I actually usually have a difficult time ordering because there are only a couple things that even sound appetizing. I'm usually reasonably happy with what I get, but never to the point that I felt it was worth the time and money. And most of the people I've gone with who have gotten burgers have said they were good, but nothing special.
The one thing I LOVE there is the fried zucchini! If it was possible to run in and grab an order of these real quick I'd be stopping at Joe's a lot more often.
So, Joe's doesn't really do it for me. If you still want to give it a try, I'd recommend checking out the menu online first and making sure there's something that sounds REALLY good to you, because that meal will cost you time and money!
