Walking in I was hit with the amazing smell of baked goods...no wait, not baked goods, what is that smell...oh its bleach and cleaner. Well at least the place is recently cleaned. My croque monsieur was cold on the bottom and luke warm on top, asked them to reheat it and when they put it back in the oven it came out with bits of burnt stuff on it, completely ruining what little flavor it had to begin with. I'm not sure how they messed up onion soup so badly either. It tasted like onions in a bowl of hot water. So weird that it could be bland, but they managed to do it. Of course the one thing they were able to do well was post a very clear sign that says "Absolutely no refunds." I overheard the lady at the counter complaining they were understaffed and close at 4pm now. So you know, being open while everyone is at work seems like a good way to make sure any customers you haven't pissed off still have a chance to get there. Everything in the cases looked old and the decor was that of a dilapidated 80's diner. I live right down the street so was pretty sad this place was that terrible. I grew up with a french owned legit patisserie close by, not to mention I've been to France. I'm personally offended by the number of restaurants in Las Vegas that pawn off crap fake reproductions as "authentic" in this town and this is just another example. Don't be fooled, their food is garbage and they are giving a bad reputation to french food.
To the owners: From the looks of things, you don't give a damn about this restaurant, the customers, or the employees who make their living by working there. This place will be closed in a year and you will assuredly blame the economy or some other bs instead of yourselves.
To the employees: Since you close at 4pm now I recommend you use your spare time in the afternoon to look for a new job.
