I have never had such a worse experience with any company, let alone a towing company. My sister/roommate got her car towed on her apartments property at about 1am. So when we came out and saw that it wasn't there we immediately called the towing company that the complex uses to get cars off their lot. Called Fast Towing Friday (the day the car got towed) at 6:07 am and spoke with a lovely young lady named April. We got the info we needed to get the car out as far as prices and such goes, but unfortunately my sister left her wallet in the car. She said since we'd be coming after hours (8am-5pm) it would be a $50 charge BUT if we were just coming to get the wallet it should be okay, tell them she said it was okay and it wouldn't be a problem. Fast forward 12 hours when we called to speak with someone about getting the wallet out of the car we spoke with David. Who told us we couldn't come get it without a supervisor being there. We said we weren't aware of that and replayed the conversation we had with April earlier. He told us without proof that the car was hers they wouldn't let us get in the car to retrieve her wallet. After reiterating that her wallet, which contains ID is in the car and that she has a passport to verify her identity, he still wouldn't budge. He continued to say it would be a fee no matter what and if she didn't have proof she couldn't come look in the car. Now at this point there's rules, and then there's modern human physics if the proof is in the car and we can't get in the car then how will we get the proof? He proceeded to tell her if she could get a bill of sale well then that would work. After being on the phone with the company who sold her the car we got a bill of sale...when we called David back he told us that unless it was bought in the past 30 days the bill of sale wouldn't work. (inserts eye rolling here). He told us we could call back to speak with his manager Saturday morning. His name is Manny and he would be in at 6am. FAST FORWARD to 6am Saturday morning. Manny isn't in. He will be late. 7:30 maybe 8. So we speak with Yessein who is no more help if actually less help than the last guy. She continued to tell us we couldn't come in and get it unless we paid the $50 just to get the wallet. It was still after hours fee. Blah blah blah. Kept referring us to her manager who would conveniently not be at the location, be out in the field, or he was busy doing something. She then told us to call back on Monday between 8am-5pm to speak with the general manager. Thankfully someone with a nice sense of customer service (Tanya) spoke with us and told us it was okay to get the item she needed and if there was any problems call her. I understand every company has its own rules. But at this point we were just dealing with one unreasonable person after the next. If we never have to deal with this company ever again it would be too soon.
