Basis for my starred ratings (which skews heavily to the food or drink): 1 star: Never again. 2 stars: Poor food, poor experience, extraordinary measures in order for me to come back. 3 stars: Average, nothing really special, nothing particularly bad. 4 stars: Very good, would definitely return. 5 stars: A favorite, one of the best. Dutch crunch bread! Zapp's potato chips! These two things alone keep this place at 4 stars. I just can't give it a 5 despite these because I've had other, better, amazing sandwiches, but these are pretty darn good. I do't care that the Dutch crunch kind of falls apart and roughs up the roof of your mouth, I love the texture. So, so many sandwiches to choose from. Good because I love variety. Bad because it leads to consumer choice freeze - too many options, don't know what to do. It's easily overcome. I've had the Tony Soprano (ham, salami, turkey, provolone, Italian dressing). It's fine, I could do without the turkey. It's not a great Italian sub, but it's still a tasty sandwich. Also had the Lizzy's Lips (halal chicken, pepper jack, Italian dressing). This was an interesting combination and it, too, was mighty tasty. Little kick from the pepper jack, little tart saltiness from the dressing, with decently cooked, not-too-dry chicken. It's a "healthier" option I suppose. Interestingly enough, this is the only Valley location I've been to even though there's one closer to home. And I'll try it, assuming I will like it, because again. Dutch Crunch. Zapp's potato chips.
