I wish there was an option for 10 stars!! Martin is amazing! I am visiting my Mom and her AC quit working on the first 100+ day of the year (yesterday) and we were dying! I went through hell with another company who wanted to charge me almost $1,000 to fix the unit until they called for a part and realized I had an extended warranty (my dad bought before he died.) (This other company is a bunch of crooks, but that's for a different review :-)) The warranty company recommended Martin and he came out within 30 minutes of me calling him & explaining the situation. But first he called the warranty company and me on a 3-way call so we could figure out what exactly was covered and found out the part I needed was NOT covered. However, he said he already had the part I needed in his truck and he'd come out right away to replace it since we were suffering in the heat. He was SO helpful and explained everything to me. He was shocked at some of the things he found that this other company had done to the AC unit (it's on the roof) and at what they charged my Mom for another visit back in Dec. (They charged over $1000 for the Freon the unit needed, when Martin said his charge would have been closer to $350.) And the best part....? He only wanted to charge me $150 total for the part and labor of installing it!! I was shocked. He said he felt so bad at everything we had been through and for all the shady companies out there. I actually insisted on paying him a little more!! When was the last time you did that? I simply cannot say enough about how honest and amazing Martin has been!! We will only use him from now on!!
