I'm incredibly disappointed in Wyoga Veterinary Hospital right now. I've been taking my dog and cat there for a couple of years. We had my husband's dog put to sleep there last year and it was as positive experience as you could have given the circumstances. You can see that review below. As my cat has been approaching the end of his life i called to make an appointment to put him to sleep tomorrow. First, they will only offer appointments at 5:45pm. I want my husband there with me and he works 1:30-10:30pm so that's not possible. I'm taking the day off work so I asked for something in the morning but they stick to their 5:45pm time slot. I also asked if they could do it in the car as my cat gets very stressed out at the vets office and I'd rather his final moments in life not be in such a stressful environment but rather snuggled up in a blanket in mom's lap. Since they offered to do this with my husband's dog last year I didn't think it'd be an issue but apparently I was wrong. If we want them to cremate him, they have to do it in the office. I don't understand why we can't just wrap him up in his blanket once he's gone and bring him into the office then. I was very upset and told the receptionist I'd have my husband call back. He couldn't get them to budge either. I can't explain how much worse this already sad moment has been because of their response.
