My husband and I decided to gamble and wait to rent a car until we landed in Mesa. We had hoped that we could get a better price at the last minute. Wrong! Then Herman Schilling, area manager for Alamo, saw our dilemma and came to our rescue. After discussing several options, Herman helped us to get a full-sized car for even less money than we would have paid for a mid-sized car if we'd reserved on-line with any rental car company ahead of time. I'm not suggesting that, in the future, we'll wait to rent our car when we arrive in Mesa. But, Herman has made us a true believer in Alamo and we will rent from them whenever possible.
