I have been going to J. Phillip for about 3 to 4 years now, and did so after leaving a dentist that focused more on cavities and crowns than preventive health. Thank goodness I tried J. Phillip!
What I like:
Keurig coffee maker at the entrance, so you can enjoy a good cup of coffee while you wait.
Smiling, friendly folks at the desk, and this is universal for each of the dental assistants and especially for J. Phillip himself, the dentist. I always feel comfortable, and the people there are simply kind. They remember my vacations, remembered about my wedding, and more, even though it was several months between visits.
Thorough review of your dental insurance benefits, payments needed and payment plans. I always leave a dentist checkup with a plan for how I will pay for my dental bills BEFORE I actually get the work done, and sometimes they offer pretty good discounts on major treatments.
I have confidence in the dentist: He always suggests different courses of action and then I can choose the best course. I never feel any pressure for unneeded or unwanted services (teeth whitening!)
It would be great to say I didn't need a dentist, but since I need one, I'm happy that I have a great one.
