I usually do not write reviews - about anything - but with what I've experienced here (and having it be in regards to my child's health) I felt I needed to share. I'll make it short and sweet since the original post I wrote was more like a novel ;) St. Rose Pediatrics became my sons pediatrician when he was six months old with a severe case of chicken pox. they were amazing! they saw him three times over the course of about two weeks and really helped out a lot. so we started going to them for his regular check ups ... we always had to wait an annoying amount of time to see a doctor. so I started making his appointments for first thing in the morning - and we'd still wait. flash forward to his most recent visit: we didn't get taken back to an exam room until 30 minutes after his scheduled appointment time (which isn't THAT bad). however, I then discovered through speaking with the nurse that the fact that he had the chicken pox was never noted in his medical chart. at every appointment we had, the nurse would ask me if I'd like him to get his chicken pox vaccine since they noticed he never got it. I'd always respond "no, he can't have the vaccine because he had the chicken pox." long story short, I asked at this appointment why that's always asked to me each time, and shouldn't they know that by looking at his records? well, they had to, right then, make a note of him having chicken pox in his file. because it was never in his records that he had the chicken pox - period. so, already baffled by that conversation, we then waited another hour!! in the exam room for the doctor to show up. finally, a different nurse came in and offered us a PA because the doctor was "very busy" and they didn't want to "keep us waiting". so, after over an hour & a half wait, finding out my sons medical records were never accurate AND not even getting to see a Dr., I'm officially done with St. Rose Pediatrics. (I'd like to note that I don't HAVE to see an MD each time we go, but I felt like after the wait we had and finding out about his charts, we should have at least been able to see the physician we were scheduled to see...)
