Today I called Party City to order 34 balloons for my seven year old son's dad's birthday, his dad passed away last month. My son wrote a letter to his dad to be sent to "heaven" with the balloons. Spoke to Ashley, very short, and hanged up on twice while trying to place my order. I then went to the store and was treated so badly, in front of my son, that she didn't have time to place my order. I then explained in a high tone that while trying to call in the order that I was put aside, the reason behind my need for these balloons was to send them to my son's father in heaven. I got many looks needless to say. While another gentleman, Mike, overheard and said he'd place the order right away. It's sad to have to explain yourself for even decent service. And yet Ashley still continued to apologize to others that " something else I guess more important came up." WoW! I really hope karma plays a role at hand.
