This zoo is far out there, but totally worth the drive! I went here and then the Phoenix zoo the next weekend, and what a difference!!! The Phoenix zoo was a joke in comparison! The animals were so close, you could almost touch them! There was just so much to see and it was nice to actually be able to see it, instead of walking all around the Phoenix zoo and feeling like I only saw like 5 animals! Maybe I'm just used to the Brookfield zoo and Lincoln Park zoo in Chicago, but I am super picky about my zoos :-) I definitely recommend checking out this one instead!!!
