Last minute lunch decision before heading out of Vegas. I had this place bookmarked in Yelp and now I know why. I started with a half rack of baby back ribs. They were smokey, tender and juicy. Seasoned to perfection with a course pepper crust. The cuts were great with the perfect meat to fat ratio - more meat than fat, but enough fat for flavor. Served over white bread with a side of dill pickles. The Arkansas sweet sauce paired perfectly.
I was craving a hot dog all week so I had the dog from the kids menu. It was a big, beefy dog on a hoagie roll. It was more than a kid should eat. House sauce on this one was awesome. Added a side of loaded mashed potatoes. Not sure, but these might be instant potatoes. They reminded me of KFC which isn't a bad thing. Topped with cheddar, green onion and bacon; it was delicious. Closer to 4.5 stars overall. If you want bbq in Vegas, this is it.
