I'm going on my 4th (and last) year of living here. It started off great, but now it's going downhill. I live directly across from the park and the canal and have had 2 break ins within the past 6 months. First my garage was broken into and had my mountain bike stolen, and just last night I had the passenger window of my car smashed and items stolen. There used to be a security car that drives around, but I have not seen it in months. I have had police reports filed both times. There was also a time when someone attempted to "hammer in the door knob" when I was in the process of switching apartments in the complex. The front office gives the usual "We're sorry, but there is nothing we can do." Hide your kids, hide your wife, and board up your windows because they are smashing everything out there.
