Ive lived at my new home for over a year and recently the old ADT equipment started going off at random times through out the day and night. I called to ask what to do and the technicians said they would walk me through disarming the whole system. I was to find a transformer and cut wires red and black or whatever. I could never find it. They were too smart saying that I should know what CHIME BAT means and that means low battery. Seriously, I have a masters degree and I do not make assumptions about the meaning of something so basically was unsure. They would not send anyone to help because my service was cancelled. Now a business savy person would say...let me send someone out. This could be their opportunity to get my business. I actually wanted it turned on but after they were so petty about helping me and acting like I should be an alarm specialist I will go elsewhere.
