After springing an oil leak from an unknown source I was referred to Johnston's Automotive, the claim being they were fairly priced and honest.
They took my vehicle in, knowing I had no clue what the source of the leak was and that I had been told by the car wash/oil change joint that a "gasket" had gone out.
A few minutes after handing my keys over the technician returned saying there was no leak, and the only issue was the previous location had made a mess when changing my oil and didn't clean it up. Mike then kindly informed me there was no fee for the inspection and sent me on my way.
They could have easily scammed me, or even charged me for the "inspection," but true to the referral, they were fair and honest! They will be my new car care center!
