Jane's food and supplies are of high quality, safe, and fresh. Which is probably why their prices are a bit higher than other places. But if you can afford it, a pets health shouldn't have a price. It's worth it anyway because a $25 bag of food lasts our 2 birds at least 2 months. Beats buying the stale food on the shelves of popular large pet store that are unhealthy and have bad or no nutrient value.. Or buying toys that are toxic or unsafe for your birds. Jane's birds order only a few bags at a time and stores them in the fridge so the food stays as fresh as possible.
They're also a boarding house so if for some reason you can't take your bird(s) with you for a few days, they have 'rooms' in the back for them.
Their birds are healthy and you can tell are well taken care of. The cages are clean and the birds aren't all cramped in their cages. The whole place is clean and organized! They have a vet who comes in once in awhile to do check ups and whenever they get a new bird.
Jane's been doing this for decades and has good tips and stories. They do nail and wing clippings when the lady is there too. We go in to buy food, toys, poop off, and see the birds. Support this local business and stop by :)
