This is my first time visiting this location for a cut and blow-out. I've visited the North York location before. My impression of the store was more on the pricy side but good service overall. This time I was disappointed with the service left alone the cut. The cut was average, which I expected for not going for the director's cut. After all, all I really needed was a just a trim to my long damaged hair. I decided to save the money. If I want a nicely tampered bob, then I totally will go for the best and most experienced. Just some background to level set my expectation.
The initial look of my hair was very flat with no layering or contouring to compliment my face. I pointed out my concerned and got a little bit more trimming along the side. I'm not a hair professional so I would rather leave the decision on how to produce a flattering hair style to the stylist. However it's just not the case in my visit this time. After I got home, I still feel the bottom of my hair is too heavy and lumpy compared to the top of my hair. It wasn't as noticeable at the salon after the blow-out.
The most disappointing part was the wash. I expected some relaxing sculpt message but not much to the wash here. I got shampooed, scratched then rinsed.
In the end I paid $45+tax and was told it had to be in cash.
Despite its location is very convenient to where I live now, I know I can either get cheaper or better service elsewhere.
