My partner and I came to the restaurant on Sunday the 24th of April. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and were impressed and liked the service of the bartender. The hostess was very nice when we checked in at the restaurant. She placed rose petals on our table which was a cute touch.
The poor review was mainly because of our waiter. He was very short with us. Didn't go over the menu like you would expect from a fine dining restaurant/resort. I don't know if it's because we are gay or if he just was in a bad mood but it was just poor service. We even heard another waiter ask their table if they could bring their valet ticket to the valet. Our service we just poor.
The food was good though. We did enjoy that. The flat iron steak wasn't really to my liking. Too dry. But the risotto was really good.
