Turkey Pot Pie!!!!!!!!!!
I'm recovering from the latest contagious disease circulating through my office and needed comfort food that could be delivered!
Of course I thought of My Mother's because they have always been there for me. And they have pie, which is always yummy.
I ordered the TPP (turkey pot pie ) AND a piece of pumpkin pie "for tomorrow's breakfast".
The TPP was nothing short of transcendental---and I don't say that lightly. The pastry topping was perfect, the turkey and veggies were perfectly cooked, and the gravy was perfectly spiced as well. The side of mashed potatoes and gravy that accompanied the TPP were also perfect.
I have always loved this place but the TPP literally bumped it up to my very short list of 5-star favorites!!!
P.S. The pie didn't last until the morning either.
