ZERO STARS!!!
Just came back today from vegas. We stayed at the Flamingo since we found a great deal online for the Go Get Wet Pool Package that included 2 complimentary frozen drinks or beer and a pool kit with the new Go rooms. Upon arriving it took us 2 hours to check in since we ran into some problems. The package I booked was for 3 days and was booked straight from the actual hotel site. After checking in we noticed we were charged for an extra night which made no sense since when you purchase any packages thru their hotel site it must be paid in full. They told us that the package only consist of 2 days and that we had to pay for the 3rd night. TELL ME WHY WOULD I BOOK A 2 DAY PACKAGE IF I AM STAYING FOR 3 NIGHTS?!? are u stupid no where said it was a 2 day package...i even busted out the itinerary and confirmation for them to look at. After giving us the run around for an hour we finally talked to the front desk manager and she was stupid as hell too. Finally everything got straighten out because these people that worked at this hotel didnt know what the hell they were doing. I will defin be contacting Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. and WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
now for my review on the room. dont even get me started. came here for me 25th bday and with the problems checking in my birthday was starting to become shitty. we got the go room since it looked really nice online...too bad totally not.
-5 cigarette burn holes in the blanket.
-Remote was missing back cover.
-The door handle to the bathroom was broken and swinging back and forth.
-The vinyl pink wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom wall.
-No extra toilet paper. there was like less than half a roll on the holder.
-3 big dark stains in the carpet
-Caulking in shower was coming off and all moldy
-All 3 lamps in room did not work
-Ceiling light had 3 dead bulbs.
Pool here sucks butt.
Headed to the pool Saturday morning. Pool was packed full of people just drinking and mingling around. You really cant even swim just post and drink. We went to claim our free drinks so we got 2 strawberry margaritas which consist of no alcohol. We should of got beers instead. Then went to go get our pool kit ( Vegas Hat, Sun Block, and aloe wipes) which we actually is charged to the room and you get a receipt and when u check out u give the front desk the receipt and they reverse the charge. How inconvenient. Pool sucked so we all decided to go to the Go Pool for the 21 and up with European sun bathing. Thought it was be less people since girls do get in free but guys have to pay. It was pointless since the minute was walked in we walked back out. There was nothing but old people there and heavy set woman with their boobs all out I DO NOT want to see that. no offense but damn! I wasn't there to see boobs I really just wanted to listen to music and hang with friends where there wasn't going to be tons of kids and people.
I defin will not be retuning to Flamingo. Worst Las Vegas Hotel I ever stayed at.
