Each place on East 4th seems to fill a niche, and Wonder Bar has a lack of one. Wonder Bar doesn't do anything great but in the words of my grandpa, 'it's okay'. There's a few large flat-screens above the bar with sport games on. A long thin walkway separates the bar and the rest of the seating of high top tables, a piano, a very small stage, with the walls are painted a deep red. Is it trying to be romantic ? The crowd were mostly yuppies and some cute ones too =) Service was average each time I went. Wednesday nights are Trivia night. It's free, although it started about a half hour later than scheduled both times that I've been there. There's a few prizes at the end including pizzy porno dvds and beer/energy drink branded merchandise. Your trivia team receives crucial bonus points if you order shots during selected rounds. Although there's only five on tap (including 2 great lakes and chocolate stout), there are over 30 bottles, including a few bell's and left hand. It's the largest selection on East 4th. If you're looking for a place to catch a few beers on East 4th above a dive mentality, come on down.
