It's been almost 3 years since I moved to Dormont but this was my only first visit to Dor Stop. I've heard about this place even before I moved here and I was pretty sure we'd be coming here at least few times a month. But nevertheless, I could never bring myself to stop by especially when the line to get in usually starts a block away from the restaurant. However, this past Sunday was a different story - perhaps because we came in later than the normal breakfast hour. There wasn't much of a line and the wait wasn't too long either. Although the place itself was pretty full. The servers were friendly and attentive in handling our group of 6. The coffee along with the refill came in time - so did our food. I got the All American Breakfast with a beef patty, rye toast, 2 eggs and the Lyonaise potatoes with onions. Loved every bit of it. My S.O. got the spicy omelete which was needless to say quite "spicy" which came with a toast and potatoes (without onions). I was a bit confused since the menu said that it came with fries which I assumed was french fries. Regardless, it was delicious and quite filling. The price is reasonable and the portion is just about right.
