We ate dinner our first night at Holsteins. Everyone had a $15 hamburger, except for one of us who had a $16 chicken sandwich. Our 11 year old son wanted a milkshake with dinner, but we told him we would get it for him later that night, when we returned to the room. On the way out we saw that the restaurant sign on the front said "Open 4 pm to 12 am", precisely what it says on their website, so we made our plans accordingly. We walked around the Strip, saw some sights, and rode the Ferris Wheel. We notice the time was 11:45pm, and all of us hurry as fast as we can from the Ferris Wheel back to the restaurant in 10 minutes- an impressive feat by all accounts. So we get there at 11:55pm, and before we can order a milkshake, the hostess coldly informs us that they are closed. I explain to her that the sign says they close at 12am, it is 11:55pm, we made it all the way from the Ferris wheel in 10 minutes to buy our 11 year old a $10 vanilla milkshake to go, but she didn't care. She told us again, without looking up from the register, that they are closed. This place could have sold a vanilla milkshake to an 11 yr old if they wanted, but they didn't want to. The food we had here was good, but obviously overpriced. They just don't care, and that was our experience at this hotel throughout our stay. It is a pretty hotel, but they just don't care. There are too many choices in Vegas to get a $15 hamburger without coming to a place that just doesn't care. Clay F Henderson, NV Guest on 3/20/16
