I have been living in Vegas for years and have never been to Fright Dome until this year. With all of the overpriced entertainment options in this valley, Fright Dome proves that you can shell out some money (not much, some) and be handsomely rewarded. I was skeptical of throwing down cash for the Fast Pass ($47 compared to the $35 for General Admission), but my friends were all doing it and I would follow them off the Brooklyn Bridge like a lemming. I sure was happy I threw in for the extra $12 after getting in. It was well worth it. As the night went on, the GA lines grew long while the FP lines remained short or nonexistent. The houses themselves were a lot fun. The production value was really good, the scares a tad typical, and the creativity a bit lacking. The whole atmosphere of the Fright Dome was great. There were entertainment and monsters everywhere. The drawbacks were: some imagination in the houses and the need for a better layout, as it was difficult to find some of the houses based on the shotty map. Overall, FD is a grand ole time, neatly balancing the scary with the fun. I would definitely go back next year.
