I'm such a huge fan of this market. Sometimes, I'm here everyday because I keep forgetting to buy things. Granted it doesn't have EVERYTHING and the BEST of everything, but it has enough to keep me happy. I am Korean so my favorite places should be the Oriental Market on Park street and Lee's on University. However, I'd go to A Mart for most things, then go to the Korean marts if there is something more specific that I need (hoping that they have it). Their produce (mostly used in asian foods) are fresh and cheap. They have a seafood selection (including salmon head! and shrimp), but what I'm most excited about is the meat selection. In addition to the normal ground, chuck, etc., you cand find tripe, oxtail, pork belly, pork feet, chicken feet, and other meats more used in asian cuisine for a good price! I just recently realized that you can make great bulgogi with the sliced beef in the freezers and use the other sliced meats (lamb and pork) for shabu shabu, pho, or other soups for quick cooking. I used to highly disfavor the powdered/canned/msg-filled foods, but exploring this market and growing a little older helped me appreciate all the other ingredients that actually go in homemade asian cuisines.
