This is almost as Wisconsin as it gets. Went last night for a work Christmas party. Very busy and noisy, but what do you expect on a Friday night? Food was all good. Fish boil was, well, fish boil. IMHO the real draw of the place is not the food, but the drinks. Korbel Manhattan served in a full on cocktail tumbler! None of these little rocks glasses here. And the regular mixed drinks will sure warm your toes. If beer is what is dear, plenty of that as well. If your grand-folks are visiting from Rhinelander and you take them out, this is the place. Unpretentious and decidedly Un-Madison-y.
