Cool shop for all things home-brew. Knowledgeable staff with loads of spare parts, systems, and beer itself to send you on your merry way and blissful nirvana of getting drunk at home and not having to worry about getting in the car for another beer run.
The staff could be a bit nicer, if I'm being blunt and honest - there certainly is an air of self-righteous snobbery going on. But to be honest, that's almost forgivable these days given the recent douche-infestation of the craft beer game. Once through the prickly exterior however, the staff proved to be wicked smart and helped me with my home keggerator questions.
Would love to see more variety on their keg list. Seemed to be overly crowded with stouts, IPAs and heavier stuff for the more rotund connoisseur. Lining up some more Pale ales, or even some of the India Session IPAs would be a most welcome adjustment.
This is also one of the only places I'm aware of in South Charlotte that will refill your CO2 tanks.
