I like to peruse this Restore, but it is rare that I make a purchase. I find that their prices are quite high. For example, on my visit yesterday I saw a small wood veneer tv stand for $100.00. The tv stand was in poor condition and the veneer was chipping away all over the stand. You could purchase a similar item new from Amazon for slightly more than this item was listed for at the Restore, which is disappointing.
I also want to mention that their selection of couches, chairs, and other upholstered items is VERY poor. The majority of these items are extremely outdated, worn, and dirty. Many of these items need to be trashed.
If you are looking for picture frames, mirrors, lamps, artwork etc. expect staggeringly high prices. A typical used mirror is listed for $30 +, and I routinely see mirrors in better condition and brand new at TJ Max or Marshall's.
I know the appeal of a restore can be that you are salvaging a cute used item, but unfortunately most of their used items are in poor condition and are incredibly overpriced. I have awarded 2 stars because I have made 2 purchases from the Restore over the years, but I've been there probably 30 other times and left empty handed.
