Last year this library was updated, and I think it's for the better. It's always been one of the better libraries to go to for quaintness and intimacy, as it's been my experience that every other library in Calgary is big & sprawling & overwhelming.
They now have the computers in a little area of their own, instead of all lined up against one wall. They now have a self-checkout stand for convenience (not that the lineups ever get too long there). Of course they still offer childrens programs, etc.
As well, it is conveniently located just next to North Hill Centre, if you have any shopping you want to do on your library day, i.e., picking something up at Safeway :)
