My friends and I wanted to check this place out on Friday night. We played a bunch of games for a few hours, got hungry and wanted to eat. We got seated around 1AM, well aware that the place closed at 2AM we politely asked our waitress if it was still ok to order food. She was more than willing to take our order. We enjoyed our meal and finished eating right around 2AM. Once we finished closing our tab, another waiter walks by our table and ask us if we finished paying, we told him yes and his response to us was, "well you guys can leave now, we're closed!"
I understand that you guys had a long work day and are ready to go home, but there is a polite way to tell customers that they are closed and would like us to leave. A simple, "just to let you guys know, we are closed and will be cleaning up" would have sufficed.
