As long as you are a regular business traveller, with few special needs and rarely ever call guest services to request anything, you'll be fine. Special requests seem to disrupt their routine. And, if you are disabled in any way, look elsewhere. This is not a very accessible hotel.
It's the little things I needed to request that really seemed to disrupt the hotel's routine. Like two days to get a room service menu which they kept insisting I must be overlooking the menu. No new breakfast menu cards left by cleaning staff so had to request them, again assuming I was overlooking them. Lift door would not recognize my disability scooter and kept closing prematurely. And front doors would not auto-open; a big problem for someone with disabilities, especially with NO doorman on duty. My request on checkout for help with luggage from my room to the lobby went unrecognized for 30 minutes and I had to call again. As an "accessible" hotel, I have to give it a barely passable grade. I will probably pay more next time to get a hotel more accessible for the disabled.
Only good thing is location to the CBD and to the Billy Bishop Island Airport, which I use from Chicago instead of Pearson.
