Went excited to finally color and cut some of my hair. I have experienced Telogen Effuvium twice due to stress about 10 years apart. Most cases it grows back as is mine! Google TE and Mayo Clinic website! Was trying to explain it's okay to color and was told by Keith he did not want to do my hair not because of temporary thinning but I guess my supposed denial was Irritating to him or crazy lady who won't accept hair loss and frankly I still don't understand as I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I still have plenty of hair! Flicking his comb/brush and extremely rude in front of other customers and stylist! Learned in corporate America nice ways to handle situations. Towards the end I was very angry. Left phone message as to why doesn't he know about this condition as it mimics when women lose hair re pregnancy and grows back. Numbers are going up according to studies. Totally insulted and glad now. Don't want someone who is a know it all who clearly does not know much! Dodged a bullet as they say! Was also asked when making appointment if I could text, use iPhone and computers. I made the mistake of telling her I was in my 50s. lol Had to laugh though !
