My son has a milk allergy so yogurtland has always been a treat for him as they often have various dairy free options. We stopped by the yogurtland in Excalibur close to closing time on Friday night. While we were there I noticed the employee wiping off the machines and nozzles with the same towel. I asked her if they ever use a separate towel for the dairy free machine to avoid cross contamination. Her response, "No! This is just how we do it and it's all cross contaminated anyway so you want him just not to have none." My son is 7 and was worried about eating his yogurt. She was rude and I will never return to this location. I already emailed Yogurtland, hoping they will consider using a separate towel for the dairy free machine. (I know its not likely he would have a reaction from their method of cleaning, but it's still a risk. I would have appreciated her simply responding by offering to wipe it again with a new towel for a food allergy mamas peace of mind.)
