This is a must-see when in Pittsburgh. I can't vouch for the view in the daytime but at night it is absolutely breathtaking. You can see all of Pittsburgh lit up.. including all of its beautiful bridges.
You can purchase tickets to ride the incline tram up and down (roundtrip is $3.50 for adults. Free for seniors 65+ and children under 5). On top where you get to take in these beautiful views is actually a neighborhood of houses and a church, etc. I saw a lot of cars just parked temporarily on the side of the streets, not sure how strict they are with patrol there.
Anyway, it was gorgeous. I loved it. Definitely highly recommended. It's also a great idea for date night for all the couples out there ;)
