I have been coming to Frank's for a few years and I have have been pretty happy with them. However, after the last 2 visits I noticed they have a different crew, most of which are young.
Both times I showed them a picture of my cut as I had it done a few months prior. Both times it was cut way too short and sloppy. The first bad one was a Hispanic guy who was too busy talking trash to the other barbers (some profanity and he had to be reminded that there are women & children present)! And I did not ask for a crew cut with bangs! I think his name was either Vino or Pino but if you hear someone talking a lot of smack, avoid him at all costs!
The 2nd and last straw was Chris McCrimmon (African-American) once again I show him my picture and gave clear instructions. Once again, a crewcut with bangs! WTF!
The quality of this place has seriously dropped. The wait time is very long with the barbers lollygagging, joking and taking their sweet time while patrons are waiting. I waited about an hour for a sh*tty haircut!
I overheard that some barbers left because they didn't like the current conditions. My Spanish isn't the greatest but I got the jist of a patron asking why his favorite barber is never there.
Anyhoo, finding a good barbershop is tough but I have to try finding a good one that doesn't specialize in crewcuts with bangs. Or I could just become a mop head.
